FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE POLICY

The Annals of King Edward Medical University require authors to transparently report all financial support received for the research or preparation of a manuscript.

Financial Support

Authors should disclose all sources of funding, including research grants, institutional support, charitable funding, or commercial sponsorship. A “Financial Disclosure” statement should be included in the manuscript before the references.

Examples:

This study was supported by a research grant from the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (Grant No. XXXXX).

The authors received no specific funding for this work from any public, commercial, or non-profit organization.

Role of the Funder

Authors should clearly state whether the funding organization had any involvement in the study. Where applicable, the manuscript should describe the funder's role in study design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, manuscript preparation, or the decision to submit for publication.

If the funder had no involvement, this should also be explicitly stated.

Author Responsibility

The corresponding author is responsible for confirming that the financial disclosure is complete and accurate and that the authors retain appropriate access to the study data and responsibility for the decision to submit the manuscript for publication.

Publication of Financial Information

Financial disclosure and funding statements will be published with the article to promote transparency and allow readers to assess any potential influence of financial support on the research.
